Mr PP's
Mr PP’s spans two storeys, with a bar at street level and a 70-seat rooftop bar and kitchen. The downstairs bar is dimly lit, with a well-curated shelf of spirits and a selection of finely crafted cocktails ready to pour over ice. The laneway & garden is a beautifully lit space, equal if not rival to the rooftop space perfect for bigger functions and intimate dinners under cover seating up to 80 people.
Mr P.P. wasn’t just a regular Postmaster, he was also an avid playwright, actor, photographer, poet and illustrator in the community.
As a true creative entertainer, P.P.A would write and act in plays for the communities he served. We have included drawings, songs and poems written by P.P.A in our menus and throughout the venue.
A massive thank you to the entire extended Agnew family for their assistance in providing imagery from P.P.’s sketchbooks and travel diaries. He was a larger than life character and we are truly honored to tell his story and continue the legend of P.P. Agnew.
Mr PP's Rooftop
Upstairs, you’ll pass original hardwood floors and converted rooms that were once nurse residences during the building’s life as the Maternal and Child Welfare.
Out front, under a fully-retractable roof, the sun-drenched rooftop bar is scattered with high top seating and potted palms.
On the rooftop menu are jugs of beer (eight options on tap), shared cocktails, and an impressive collection of craft spirits all served with urban vistas over the CBD and rooftops. Food-wise, tuck into a variety of creative pizzas, mouth watering pasta & carefully curated antipasto offerings.
Percy's Bar
Downstairs, Percy's cosy bar is perfect for Friday knock-off drinks and sociable Saturday nights. Keeping with the vintage theming, there’s 1920s-style timber moulding with walnut finishes, a white marble bar top, ornate brass foot rails and antique picture frames featuring the honourable Mr P.P. Agnew himself.
Pull up a stool at the bar or get cosy in the European-style seating lining both the front patio and cool side alleyway.
The same menu upstairs is on offer delivering the same mouth watering cuisine as served on the rooftop.

The Laneway & Garden
Downstairs, the beautiful covered laneway is an intimate glowingly lit covered space perfect for larger groups. Walk through the laneway to access our 'not so secret' covered garden. The perfect place for a cosy date or catch-up under the twinkling fairly light ceiling.
In the winter months, all of our outdoor areas have heaters to keep you warm.
